Assurance terminology

Alignment, testing and certification are not interchangeable.

Every claim must refer to a defined component, specification version and assessment scope.

01

Technical alignment

The platform implementation tracks relevant eIDAS 2, ARF and open-standard requirements selected for the project.

02

Conformance testing

Protocol or ecosystem test results apply to the component and version that were tested. Talao Wallet's EBSI-V3 result is a historical example and is not an EUDI certification.

03

Certification

Certification is a separate formal assessment of a specific Wallet Solution and deployment. Standards support alone does not constitute certification.

European EUDI Wallet project

Talao is a partner in the APTITUDE Large Scale Pilot.

APTITUDE brings together public and private organizations to test the European Digital Identity Wallet in real-life, cross-border scenarios. Talao participates in this European project as a partner.

Participation in a Large Scale Pilot documents ecosystem experience; it is not an EUDI certification or a regulatory Wallet Provider designation.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can I request a demo?

Yes. Contact us for a walkthrough tailored to your project.

How do I choose between Wallet-as-a-Service and white label?

Wallet-as-a-Service provides a configurable wallet connected to Talao-operated services. White label adds dedicated iOS and Android applications, your branding, your feature set and your own app-store presence.

What does the Wallet Provider Backend do?

It centralizes application configuration, environments and connections to credential issuers and verifiers. The exact deployment and operating model is defined for each project.

What service levels are available?

Service Level Agreements can be tailored from business-hours coverage to 24/7 production support.

Which protocols and formats are supported?

Support includes OpenID4VCI, OpenID4VP, SIOPv2, SD-JWT VC, W3C Verifiable Credentials, ISO/IEC 18013-5 and 18013-7, plus ETSI TS 119 612 and ETSI TS 119 431/432 integrations according to project requirements.

Which DID methods are available?

Supported methods include did:key, did:jwk, did:web, did:ion, did:hedera, did:tz, did:pkh, did:ebsi and did:polygonid.

Does alignment with the ARF mean certification?

No. Technical alignment, conformance testing and certification are distinct. Certification is a formal process assessed for a specific Wallet Solution and deployment; it must not be inferred from standards support alone.
